UNPLUGGED is open to teens ages 13–19 from across our community. You do not have to attend a particular school, and homeschool teens are welcome too. No date is required. Teens can come with friends or come ready to meet someone new.
And if your teen is a little nervous about walking into a room where they may not know everyone, that’s okay. We’ve planned for that.
Throughout the evening, we’ll have plenty of games, icebreakers and interactive activities designed to make connecting feel natural and fun. There will be no pressure for your teen to take the lead or figure out how to break the ice on their own.
Our team will help create opportunities for teens to step outside of their comfort zones, join in at their own pace and connect with others.
The whole point of UNPLUGGED is to make real connection a little easier.
-
Yes. UNPLUGGED will be a supervised teen event with adults and event staff present throughout the evening. Our goal is to create a fun, welcoming environment where teens can enjoy themselves while parents feel comfortable knowing there is adult oversight.

We call it the Airplane Mode Experience. Teens keep their phones with them throughout the event. At check-in, we’ll invite everyone to switch their phones to Airplane Mode and let scrolling take a back seat for the evening.
The purpose isn’t to take phones away. It’s to give teens one night to dance, laugh, talk, meet new people and actually be part of what’s happening around them.
-
Your teen’s ticket includes an evening of music and dancing, food and drinks, photo experiences, games and interactive activities, and plenty of opportunities to connect and make memories. Your teen will not have to purchase anything extra at the prom experience.
-
This is a Prom, so we’re inviting everyone to dress up and make it a night! Formal and semi-formal attire are welcome. Teens should choose something that feels special, comfortable and true to their personal style.
-
Parent/guardian and emergency contact information will be collected during registration. Parents will also receive event contact information before the Prom so they have a direct way to reach us if something urgent comes up during the evening. If an attendee needs immediate assistance, our team will contact their parent/guardian or emergency contact as appropriate.
-
Detailed arrival, check-in and pickup instructions will be emailed to parents/guardians before the event. During registration, we’ll also collect information about how each teen will be leaving the Prom and, when applicable, who is authorized to pick them up.
-
Item descriptionAfter purchasing, you’ll be directed to complete the attendee registration form. One registration form must be completed for each teen attending. We’ll use that information for event communication, emergency contacts, dietary needs and arrival/departure planning.
